Known limitations
TextifAI Arc is in development. The following limitations are expected in the current preview stage.
Product availability
Arc is not yet a finished public SaaS product. Public accounts, payments, team features, and production support should not be assumed until announced.
Source formats
The current safest source formats are Markdown and plain text. Complex manuscript formats may need manual export before import.
AI output requires review
AI-assisted extraction, summarization, relationship detection, and revision support can be wrong. Treat generated structure as a draft until reviewed.
Evidence may be incomplete
Some claims may have weak, ambiguous, or missing evidence. These items should remain in review rather than becoming stable canon automatically.
Entity resolution can be noisy
Names, aliases, pronouns, titles, and hidden identities are difficult in fiction. Duplicate entities and uncertain references are normal first-pass issues.
Graphs can overstate certainty
A graph edge can make a relationship look more definite than it is. Always inspect evidence and review state for important links.
Preview workflows may change
Names, screens, routes, import behavior, provider support, and review actions may change before public release.
Not a substitute for editorial judgment
Arc can support revision and continuity work. It cannot replace the author’s intent, voice, taste, or final decision-making.
